This natural coffee comes from the highlands of central Bali. It is the only Hindu majority province in Indonesia. It was farmed using a Subak Aiban, a thousand year old irrigation and collective farming system. This system is informed by the Balinese Hindu principle of Tri Hita Karana, which teaches prosperity through Parhyangan, harmony with the divine, Pawongan, harmony among men, and Palemahan, harmony with nature.
